EUROPEAN EXPANDED CLAY ASSOCIATION
European Expanded Clay Association (EXCA) was established in 2007 as an asbl, a non-profit making organisation, under Belgian law.
EXCA represents and promotes the interests of the European producers of expanded clay. Today, 11 companies operating some 11 plants in Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal and United Kingdom are members. Through its members, EXCA represents more than 90% of the production in Europe.
EXCA identifies EU initiatives that are likely to impact the industry, provides a platform for its members to raise knowledge and share expertise, and communicates the view of the industry on technical, environmental, climate change and energy issues.
EXCA is a member of Cerame-Unie, an associate member of Construction Products Europe (CPE), a member of Alliance of Energy Intensive Industries (AEII), European Network for Crystalline Silica (NEPSI), Non-Energy Extractive Industries Panel (NEEIP) and REACH Alliance.
